Hi, I am Anna. It’s nice to meet you!
I’m originally from Germany, but am calling the UK my home now for 15+ years. Over the past four years, I’ve been on a personal development journey to improve my quality of life and live a life that is filled with purpose, fulfilment and contentment. My ultimate aim is to live a happy life filled with lots of moments of joy and ton of good memories.
Productivity and time management are topics I’m deeply passionate about because, like many of us, I used to feel like there were never enough hours in the day and of course I sometimes still do. Who doesn’t right?
I used to struggle immensely with juggling too many tasks. This resulted in me neglecting hobbies and even feeling guilty about meeting friends when I wasn’t making progress on my blog or reaching my goals. It left me feeling overwhelmed, on edge, stressed, and unfulfilled. I created No Overwhelm to change that—for myself and for anyone else who feels they are in the same boat.
Through this website, I share practical strategies and tools to help you take control of your time, reduce stress, and create space for what matters most. Let’s say goodbye to time anxiety, working overtime and those days when you feel like you’ve done a ton, but actually haven’t completed any of your task. Here’s to a life that is filled with purpose, aligns with your value and gives you time freedom!
What I Truly Believe
There are lots of opinions out there about time management and productivity, but here’s what I found made the most difference to me and what I believe in
Don’t work overtime
You entered a contract with your workplace. You get paid x amount of money for working x hours. It’s an exchange – money for skills and time. If you don’t get paid extra, don’t work extra.
Write down everything
When you don’t write tasks, activities and basically everything down, you’re simply going to forget. A get-to-do list will be your best friend and it doesn’t have to be scary or overwhelming at all.
You need a planner
Strategies and tips are all good and well, but a planner will give you that overview you need. It helps you to stay on track, let’s you organise your schedule and acts as a reminder to keep you on track.
It’s not how much, but what
Reclaiming your time is not about fitting it all or more in. It’s about making sure you dedicate and invest your time in what matters most to you and moves you closer to your goals and dreams.
